Working as a Pianist in Gloucestershire
My work as a pianist often takes me to Gloucestershire and I always enjoy my visits. The Cotswolds area is particularly beautiful and it has the venues to match. Furthermore, the choice of venues makes the area an ideal place to host an event or wedding. I have worked in many of these venues and played the piano for many different types of events.
Me as a Wedding Pianist
This website is basically about my work as a sing-along pianist and a lot of my work in Gloucestershire is work of this type. However, I also play other genres of music and in order to play the piano for weddings, I have to be very versatile. Weddings often involve me having to play different genres for the various parts of the day. This can be classical music for ceremonies and music of a more lively nature for drinks receptions. The genres I cover include pop, blues, Latin, jazz, classical and sing-along.

The Baby Grand Piano Shell
Most pianists play digital pianos as, for the most part, venues in Gloucestershire don’t have pianos or don’t have suitable ones. The only problem with this is that sometimes an event demands something that looks a little bit smarter. This is where the baby grand piano shell comes into it’s own. Just to explain, the baby grand piano shell discretely houses a normal digital piano and transforms it into a focal point. This only costs an additional £80 on top of my fee and can be set up anywhere.
I work regularly as a pianist in the Gloucestershire area. Here are the main towns, villages and cities I cover:
- Bishop’s Cleeve
- Charlton Kings
- Chipping Campden
